A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized therapy services in a school setting located in Saint Paul, MN. This role focuses on supporting students with communication needs to enhance their academic performance and social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress consistent with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting measurable goals
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work autonomously
